Cambridge certainly does its part to make the world greener. With the highest level of cycling in the country, one in four residents cycle to work or college. Being a compact and flat city, cycling and walking are quick, cheap and pollution-free methods of travel.

For those who prefer motor power the local bus service allows commuters, to enjoy stress free travel and beat the traffic. It also allows visitors and shoppers to take the direct route to the heart of the city.

In London in 45 minutes
Links to London are also excellent, with the ‘Cambridge Cruiser’ trains leaving for the capital every half an hour. The ride takes approximately 45 minutes to the heart of London and is a convenient and affordable way to enjoy all that the city offers.



Travel to Europe on the cheap.
When the rest of Europe beckons, London Stansted Airport is just 30 minutes from Cambridge and provides easy access to the rest of the Continent.
